OUR LOGO Yellow circle represents the sun - to illuminate the hearts of humanity to see persons with disabilities as human beings with rights and abilities. It also symbolizes that we belong to one family and that life is a continuous cycle: when one member is not taken care of, it affects the rest of the family.
The leaves around the sun represents the namele leaf (Cycas circinnalis) which is a symbol of peace in the northern and central islands of Vanuatu. The leaves surrounding the circle with DPA inside symbolizes our vision for peace through unity of thoughts and actions that upholds the dignity of persons with disabilities.
COLOURS of the logo represent the colours on the Vanuatu flag:
Black is symbolic of ni-Vanuatu people Green represents the richness of the islands Yellow Y shape represents the light of the Gospel going through the pattern of the islands Red is symbolic of the blood of boars and men
Two leaves in the middle of the boars task represents the namele leaf.
